In our small organization, anyone has the opportunity to work up to their desired position. This guide is provided as a rough idea of how we classify levels of seniority at ZibaSec. We want to ensure you always feel appreciated, challenged, and properly compensated at ZibaSec.

5 Core Levels

Each career discipline is split into five levels. The levels in this section are intended to be seen as abstractions. For specific things, like engineering, the levels won’t use numerical values, but functional titles instead.

It is also important to note that these are not rigid definitions. It is possible that someone is at a Level 3 while still having some Level 2 characteristics and even having some Level 4 attributes. These criteria aren’t exhaustive, and they aren’t mere checklists. They’re a guide to having an individualized discussion about career progression.

It should also be noted that these criteria chiefly examine the scope of work someone is capable of tackling independently. In addition to that assessment, we also look at the quality of the execution itself. ZibaSec pays in the top 25% of the industry (based on Washington, D.C rates), so the quality of the work itself should be commensurate with that target.
